Properties
Save a Google Sheet as CSV for SaraDesk
If your properties live in a Google Sheet, save one sheet as CSV and upload it directly.
Steps
- Open your Google Sheet with the properties
- If you have multiple tabs, click into the tab you want to export (only the active tab exports)
- Go to File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv)
- The file downloads to your computer as `YourSheetName - TabName.csv`
- In SaraDesk dashboard → Properties → Bulk upload via CSV, choose that file
Column headers
The first row of your sheet should be column headers. Examples that Sara recognizes:
- address (required) — full street address, or just the street part if you put city/state/zip in separate columns
- type — e.g. "single-family", "townhouse", "condo"
- rent — e.g. "$2,200" or "2200"
- beds, baths, sqft
- available or available_date — e.g. "2026-08-01" or "August 1"
- pet_policy, parking, notes
- status — available, leased, or hold
Anything else you have (owner name, lockbox code, listing URL, etc.) gets stored too — nothing is dropped.
Tip: keep the source sheet as your source of truth
Update the sheet as you sign leases or add properties, then re-export and upload with Replace mode to sync. Or use Append mode if you're only adding new rows (overlapping addresses get updated automatically).
